Qigong and Neigong

The process of personal development and improving health is on-going

Qigong and Neigong.

As you progress, you will find that you spend less time on conditioning the body and more time in practicing the breath and the mind. The more you do, you need to understand the principles under pinning the practice which may also mean meditation.

These are the principle things that I would include together with the conditioning of the physical body which is most important..

The breath.
  • Advanced abdominal breathing- anchoring the breath
  • Passive and active breathing
  • Reverse abdominal breathing
  • Attention and intension
Awakening the energy system
  • Dan tien
  • Purging and nourishing and regulating Qi
  • Sinking the Qi
  • Opening the channels
  • Listening
  • Microcosmic orbit

The process of personal development and improving health is on-going. It is important to recognise what point you have reached and what are your weaknesses. You also need to decide what are your aspirations for the future?. These factors determine when a person moves onto starting Neigong
